Built-in Scrambler
The voice scrambling feature provides
enhanced security by garbling your transmissions, allowing you to have
conversations that are more private and secure.
Channel Annunciation
The feature enables radio to report
the current channel number when power on or switching channel, offering you
notable convenience.
VOX
Sanchar radios support the Voice
Activated Transmit (VOX) feature that allows you to use your two way radio
"hands-free". The radio will automatically begin transmitting when
you speak into the hands free.
Man Down
This feature can be useful for
operators in hazardous or elevated areas. The radio’s settings can be adjusted
to detect motion or inactivity, as well as the degree of angle of the radio.
The Man Down feature sends a notice to the user to adjust the radio after a
period of inactivity or if the radio exceeds a set angle. If the user has
fallen or is unconscious, and is unable to respond to the alert, the radio
transmits an emergency alert to get help. This is a useful additional feature
to the Lone Worker alert.
Lone Worker
The lone worker feature provides
added security and safety for individuals who work remotely from their team.
Since this function is enabled, the radio will emit an alert tone after the
preset time elapses, then the user must press any key, otherwise the
emergency procedure will be activated.
Emergency Alarm key
The key on the radio is
programmable to start the alarm and start transmitting if pressed for over 1
second. Restarting the power supply or pressing the alarm key again exits the
emergency alarm function.
Power on Self-Test
The radio itself checks radio
status automatically when power on, and emits alert if an error occurs (e.g.
CPU error or EEPROM error), allows the user to early detect unit faults.
Battery Power Indicator
Upon press the programmable
function key, the radio sounds"1", "2" or "3” to
indicate the current battery level of low, satisfactory, or high
respectively.
Embedded Message
The radio’s memory can store
messages including service and programming records, for remarkable ease of
maintenance and service.
Stun/Kill & Revive
Provides enhanced security to
prevent unauthorized use of lost or rental units, by remote inhibition of
either transmit or transmit/receive. A stunned radio will return to
operational use after receiving the revive code.
Long battery life
The standard 2200 mAh Li-on
battery, allows more than 10 hours operation.
CTCSS/CDCSS
It is one type
of circuit that is used to reduce the annoyance of listening to
other users on a shared two-way radio communications channel. It is
sometimes referred to as tone squelch. It does this by adding a low
frequency audio tone to the voice.
Switchable Power (High/ Low)
The user can choose the
transmitting power mode according to his specific communication needs. (H: 5W
M: 2.5W L: 1W)
Low Battery Alert
Sets a warning for a low battery
level, before the situation becomes critical. Values are set to On to set the
low warning and Off to ignore it. The radio blinks repeatedly.
Busy Channel Lockout (BCL)
This feature will not allow the
user to transmit as long as the radio is receiving another signal.
Time-out Timer (TOT)
It is used to set the continuous emission
maximum time of Walkie talkies. When it is overtime, the radio will stop
transmitting and prohibit re-transmitting in the period of time.
Squelch Tail Elimination
During transmission, the random
static sound is actually the radio trying to decipher the
ambient background noise into meaningful
audio. The squelch tail occurs when the transmission has just
ended and the radio circuitry doesn't respond quite fast enough. Squelch Tail
Elimination on Sanchar radios prevents this issue.
Channel Scan
The channel scan feature enables
the radio to continuously scan each channel for activity. When activity is
detected on a channel the scan process will stop and you will hear the
transmission.
PC Programmable
Sanchar PC configurable radios can
be connected to a computer and configured. These applications usually provide
a user friendly way to adjust radio settings, or change user selectable
frequencies.
Wired Clone
Sanchar radios are capable to have
their configuration easily loaded from a different radio. This makes setup a
breeze when your business has quite a few radios. Cloning through the
programming software helps when you have purchased lots of radios, when you
are adding new radios, or when you make changes to your configuration.
Compandor
A sophisticated digital voice
compression technology that reduces the static hiss between words. This
technology extends the effective range of the radio and delivers noticeably
clearer transmission quality.
Talk Around/ Reverse
The talk around function sets the
transmit and receive frequencies to the same frequency for communicating
transceiver-to-transceiver.
