Channel
Annunciation:
The feature enables radio to report the current channel number
when power on or switching channel, offering you notable convenience.
Power On Self-Test:
The radio itself checks radio status automatically when power
on, and emits alert if an error occurs (e.g. CPU error or EEPROM error),
allows the user to early detect unit faults.
Battery Power
Indicator:
Upon press the programmable function key, the radio
sounds"1", "2" or "3” to indicate the current
battery level of low, satisfactory, or high respectively.
CTCSS/CDCSS:
It is one type of circuit that is used to reduce the annoyance
of listening to other users on a shared two-way radio communications channel.
It is sometimes referred to as tone squelch. It does this by adding a low
frequency audio tone to the voice.
Switchable Power
(High/ Low):
The user can choose the transmitting power mode according to his
specific communication needs. (H:
10W M: 5W L: 2.5W)
Low Battery Alert:
Sets a warning for a low battery level, before the situation
becomes critical. Values are set to On to set the low warning and Off to
ignore it. The radio blinks repeatedly.
Busy Channel Lockout
(BCL):
This feature will not allow the user to transmit as long as the
radio is receiving another signal.
Time-Out Timer
(Tot):
It is used to set the continuous emission maximum time of walkie
talkies. When it is overtime, the radio will stop transmitting and prohibit
re-transmitting in the period of time.
Channel Scan:
The channel scan feature enables the radio to continuously scan
each channel for activity. When activity is detected on a channel the scan
process will stop and you will hear the transmission.
PC Programmable:
Sanchar PC configurable radios can be connected to a computer
and configured. These applications usually provide a user friendly way to
adjust radio settings, or change user selectable frequencies.
Wired Clone:
Sanchar radios are capable to have their
configuration easily loaded from a different radio. This makes setup a breeze
when your business has quite a few radios. Cloning through the programming
software helps when you have purchased lots of radios, when you are adding
new radios, or when you make changes to your configuration.
VOX:
Sanchar radios support the Voice Activated
Transmit (VOX) feature that allows you to use your two way radio
"hands-free". The radio will automatically begin transmitting when
you speak into the handsfree.
Emergency Alarm:
The emergency button allows for a
transmission of a signal indicating an emergency situation.
Led Torch:
Useful in emergency to get lightening in
dark areas.
Channel Spacing:
To get a minimum frequency gap in between
two channels
Squelch Off:
Squelch is a specialized type of noise gate
designed to suppress weak signals. Squelch is used in two-way radios and
VHF/UHF radio scanners to eliminate the sound of noise when the radio is not
receiving a desired transmitter.
Battery Save:
Save battery at time of no use which enhance
battery life
Scan Skip:
The Skip Scan leverages
SEEK_NEXT_USING_HINT. It stores information about what set of keys/ranges of
keys are being searched for in each column
