WHAT IS PTT OVER CELLULAR RADIO?

Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PTT) allows for wireless two-way communication using LTE/4G coverage and can be integrated with moderately distant VHF and UHF communication systems. The advantage of this system is that there are no geographical limitations in SIM-based public networks, enabling POC subscribers to communicate instantly and limitlessly with individuals or groups.

POC Radio Subscribers no longer need to approach the Wireless Planning Commission (WPC) for radio licenses or spectrum charges as these are handled by the LTE/4G network operator. POC subscribers only need to pay recurring charges for individual radio SIM cards and yearly server fees to maintain the administrative platform.
